Short answer is yes you can! However, how you repair your chipped windshield is really important. What you need to know is that there are a diy windshield repair kits online that people are buying but they do not effectively repair your chip.

No, chip is to small to be repaired. However, repairing a windshield chip must be made at the pvb layer in order to successfully inject resin. You also have to maxmize that resin with the correct tools, and finally you must uv cure the resin in order to successfully bond the windhsield repair resin to the pvb layer and thus restore the windshield to pre-loss condition.

The only way to stop rock chips from spreading is to successfully inject resin into the tips of the star-break that's created.
