This windshield repair tool has the old school grommet sleeve injector, often called the Novus type. However the drawbacks of that type of injector are a lack of vacuum, pressure control and it wastes and leaks resin that causes a mess. These drawbacks have been removed by a vacuum seal on the top of the piston. This is a good upgrade replacement of the Delta Kits tool that has these drawbacks. This tripod holding structure also reduces manual flexing of legs by over 50%. This tool is made out of aluminum. The tripod holding structure also fits our Hybrid Injector.
