The carpet needle is needed to successfully tap a bullseye for windshield chip repairs and windshield crack repair. In fact, the carpet needle will work in tandem with the bullseye tapper. You will go through a few carpet needles in both training and in the field, so for the upcoming season, make sure you have a few extra on hand.
